Price-Retail & Street
Launched back in 15 September 2010,long waited D90 replacement,D7000 has arrived in Malaysia.According to Nikon Malaysia offical website the retail price for Nikon D7000 is RM 4,998.00 with AF-S DX Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR and RM 4,398 for body only.
For those looking for a street price for Nikon D7000 in Malaysia, the price is about RM4699-4750 for a body with AF-S DX Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR.However the price for the camera body only is a way cheaper,RM3899.
Nikon D90-Price
The good thing is,this is the right time to own a Nikon D90 as the market price will be markdown as happen to Nikon D80 few years back.FYI,current market price for Nikon D90 body only(as per Nov 2010) is RM2400-2500 for a new set and RM2000-RM2200 for a used set.
Photosyok.com prediction
Nikon D90 price will go down as low as RM1800 for a used body and RM2000 for a new set in the next following month before Nikon stop the production of Nikon D90.However if Nikon D7000 not performed as good as the news there’s a chances Nikon D90 price will go up again as the consumer will go back to the proven one.For a Nikon D90 owner,if you plan to upgrade to Nikon D7000 and sell your old Nikon D90 this transaction period might be the right time. Those wanna keep it,keep your faith.Anyway, this is just a prediction as we experienced during D80-D90 transaction time.
Happy Shopping & Keep Shooting!
